Family Boats is now part of the Quintrex family.

Since 1984, Family Boats has been at the same Pakuranga location, providing a range of marine sales and services. Twentyseven years ago, owner Peter Carlson took the reins and grew the company from two to 25 employees.

Quintrex has over 100 different models in its boat range, including bowriders, side- and centre-consoles, tinnies, runabouts and plate boats.

12 m | This Nautitech Open 40 catamaran is a fast and comfortable blue water cruiser, well equipped with a spacious interior. Call for a viewing at Westhaven Marina.

Through Family Boats, New Zealanders can now access Quintrex’s exclusive Apex hull design, which features a flared bottom sheet for greater water contact and a smoother ride.

The Quintrex brand aligns perfectly with Carlson’s philosophy.

“We always want to be number-one in whatever we do,” he said, “which is why we are excited to be a part of the Quintrex team. Over a million people a year go fishing in New Zealand, so this is a big opportunity for Quintrex and Family Boats.”

Family Boats has the largest turnover of boats in New Zealand and has received many awards for its superior customer service and sales.

Carlson says the addition of Quintrex will cement the company’s leading position within the industry. www.quintrex.com.au www.familyboats.co.nz
