EXOLOK is a new cylinder locking system from Survivtec Crewsaver for lifejacket gas cylinders.
EXOLOK will be fitted to all new Crewsaver lifejackets and can be owner-retrofitted to existing Crewsaver lifejackets with UML or Halkey Roberts firing heads. The orange EXOLOK system is for UML mechanisms; the yellow is for Halkey Roberts firing heads.
EXOLOK prevents a gas cylinder working loose inside the lifejacket, instilling confidence in its reliable performance. A quick visual check confirms all is well: if the two arrows line-up the gas cylinder is correctly threaded. New Crewsaver inflatable lifejackets get EXOLOK as standard and from March 2021 every Crewsaver service carried out by an approved service station will include fitting EXOLOK. The system is available now.
