Yamaha WaveRunner 2024 Line-Up

Yamaha’s 2024 WaveRunner line-up brings more power, more colour and more choice than ever before.

NEW ENGINE
A new 1,898cc (1.9L), four-stroke, four-cylinder, 16-valve high-output marine engine replaces the 1.8L high-output motor that powered previous FX Cruiser HO, FX HO, GP1800R HO and VX Cruiser HO models.
With increased displacement, optimised intake and exhaust paths, and a 10% larger throttle body for more power and torque, the new, more powerful engine provides quicker and smoother acceleration and higher top speeds.

This new engine is paired with a new top loader intake grate on the FX HO and VX HO models for improved pickup and acceleration.

FX SERIES UPGRADES
FX Cruiser HO and FX HO models have been upgraded with the new 1.9-litre naturally-aspirated high-output engine and a new intake grate for improved jet pump efficiency and acceleration. The larger seven-inch Connext touchscreen, previously only available on the FX SVHO models, is now fitted as standard on FX Cruiser HO and FX HO models.

The Connext touchscreen home screen has been refreshed across all FX models, delivering a cleaner look and improved visibility, while the expanded Drive Control options now offer Economy, Towing, Performance, Comfort and Custom setting options.
The FX Limited SVHO, FX Cruiser SVHO and FX SVHO return in 2024 with a mix of exciting colours, and an extensive list of high-quality features carried over from 2023. FX SVHO models continue to be powered by the supercharged SVHO 1.8L four-cylinder engine, which delivers awesome performance and proven reliability.

GP SERIES UPGRADES
GP1800R HO has been rebadged as the GP 19HO and receives the new, more powerful, 1.9-litre naturally-aspirated high-output engine. Offering
a unique blend of race-inspired features such as auto trim and launch control matched with the versatile power of a naturally-aspirated engine, the GP 19HO is in a class of its own.

The popular GP1800R SVHO has been rebadged as the GP SVHO and will once again be available in two striking colour options. Performance-oriented GP SVHO models are powered by the reliable supercharged SVHO 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine.

EX AND FREESTYLE SERIES
The EX Series and Jet Blaster return in 2024 with new colours and the same performance and features that have made these models so popular. The SuperJet returns in its familiar clean, sharp white livery, offering a modern take on traditional stand-up riding with the benefit of the latest four-stroke engine technology.

“The MY24 line up is extremely exciting, with our next generation powerplant taking the performance of our naturally-aspirated high output craft to the next level.” says Pete Dick, Group Products Marketing Manager. “We are very proud of the high quality and comprehensive product line-up we can offer New Zealand customers in the 2024 model range.”
2024 Waverunners will be available in dealerships towards the end of 2023. Recommended retail prices range between $38,299 for the FX LTD SVHO and $13,899 for the base EX model.

VX SERIES UPGRADES
The VX Series offers an affordable, feature-rich, and versatile package for riders who appreciate reliability, quality and performance, without the luxury price tag. The 2024 VX series includes the VX Cruiser HO, VX Cruiser and VX Deluxe.
