Today we have just a fraction more wind than yesterday which will see a much better day of sailing.
Weather for the America’s Cup racing in Barcelona (NZ night, Barcelona’s Friday) is expected to present light and variable wind conditions. Winds are forecasted to be between 7 and 9 knots, which will require the teams to optimise their sail and foil configurations to maintain speed and stability.
The sea state should remain relatively calm, and the temperature is expected to be around 25°C, with partly cloudy skies. These conditions will challenge the sailors’ skills in making the most of the available breeze to gain an advantage on the course.
