Race 2 : Luna Rossa Disqualified Due To Foils Not Folding Up. Alinghi Take The Win

There is never a dull moment in the America’s Cup racing. Two minutes before Race 2 was set to begin, Luna Rossa failed to enter the racing zone and was disqualified – the WIN goes to Alinghi.

There was a technical issue, Luna Rossa’s foiling arm malfunctioned, failing to retract correctly, the Italian boat was unable to foil.

Alinghi drove across the start line to take the win. Game over.

This means INEOS and Luna Rossa are tied, and we get race #4 today to decide the top spot!
