Mojo is another exemplary example of the Profab 1200 power catamaran out of Profab Engineering of Palmerston North. The design comes from the drawing board of designer Roger Hill, well known and respected for providing high performance and efficient hull designs paired with well-considered interior layouts.

The 12m design features asymmetrical hulls and on this example, a hydrofoil provides additional lift to reduce drag allowing for greater performance and economy. The construction and assembly are exceptional and all vessel systems have been well considered, positioned, and executed.

Stepping onto the teak sole of the cockpit and moving inside, the muted colours and superb interior finishes provide the feeling of luxury and comfort. This is a boat where function and form meet up with style.

The Profab 1200 is the ideal 12m vessel for anyone desiring a high performance and stable platform suitable for economic long-range passages as well as high speed cruising. Mojo is fitted with twin FPT N60 400hp common-rail diesel engines – an ideal choice for fuel efficiency, performance and value.

Boatgear (formerly Tenob)

The story of Boatgear is one of success, in fact one of the most successful in the New Zealand marine industry. It began back in 1973 when Ted Nobbs, and yes, that’s where the original company name, Tenob, name came from, began the business. At that time the company developed the Tenob rise & fall outboard bracket and now, nearly 50 years later, the range of outboard brackets has grown and is almost unchanged from the original. It is sold all around the world. However, that is just one...
