Nicolas Lunven, the skipper of the 60 foot Sailing Yacht (foiler version) Holcim-PRB, currently racing in the Vendèe Globe, broke the solo monohull 24-hour record on the second day of the 2024-25 race. Opting for a more westerly route than the fleet, he covered 546.60 nautical miles in 24 hours.
