Joe Castell embarked on his marine engineering career in 2004 at Dale Sailing, a respected boatyard in West Wales, UK, completing his City & Guild qualifications in boat construction, maintenance, and marine engineering in 2006.

His extensive experience includes service and maintenance of various marine engines, engine and gearbox rebuilds, engine repowers and new boat engine installations. He also led on-water excursions with Dale Sea Safari Boat Trips and completed essential safety training with Maritime and Coastguard Agency Sea Survival, made commercial LNG tanker runs and undertook boat yard and boat lifting operations.

In 2010 he joined Ovlov Marine where he progressed from Technician to Service Manager and ultimately to General Manager at Ovlov Marine Pine Harbour.

Joe leads a dedicated team, driving innovation and excellence in the marine industry. His commitment to customer satisfaction and sustainable practices reflects his understanding of the evolving challenges within the sector.
