The atmosphere was electric as familiar faces reconnected and new members were warmly welcomed into the fold. Despite the overcast skies, the steady winds ensured excellent sailing conditions, and the rain held off, allowing participants to immerse themselves fully in the day’s adventures.

Honouring the legacy of Beneteau and Lagoon

The Beneteau and Lagoon brands are more than just names in the yachting industry—they represent over a century of innovation and craftsmanship. Beneteau, celebrating its 140th anniversary this year, has its roots in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, France, where it began crafting fishing boats in 1884. Today, it’s recognised globally for its pioneering designs and commitment to quality.

Lagoon, a younger yet equally revered name, revolutionised the catamaran market with its focus on luxurious comfort and performance. Together, these brands epitomise the spirit of adventure and the joy of life on the water.

Looking to the future

This year’s Beneteau and Lagoon Owners Rally was a resounding success—a celebration of community, craftsmanship, and the enduring joy of sailing. As participants sailed back to their home ports, it was clear that the legacy of these iconic brands is alive and well, uniting boating enthusiasts in their love for the sea.
