A high-performance cruiser

At 9.8 metres in length overall (LOA) with a 3.6-metre beam when inflated, the JP CODE 9.8 is a substantial RIB (rigid inflatable boat) built for both comfort and performance. Its deep-V hull, boasting a 23-degree deadrise, ensures exceptional handling and stability in challenging conditions.

With a hull draft of just 0.7 metres, this craft is equally adept at navigating shallow coastal waters and tackling offshore journeys. Propelled by the powerful 600HP Mercury Verado 7.6L V12 outboard, the JP CODE 9.8 offers a thrilling maximum speed of over 50 knots. For those seeking a more leisurely experience, its cruising speed of 28 knots provides a balance of efficiency and comfort, with a range of 280 nautical miles on a single tank.

Thoughtfully designed specifications

The JP CODE 9.8 is equipped with premium features to enhance every journey:

  • Fuel Capacity: A generous 500L PVC fuel tank supports long-distance cruising.
  • Freshwater and Blackwater Systems: A 130L freshwater tank and an 80L blackwater holding tank with dockside suction ensure convenience for extended trips.
  • Passenger Capacity: The RIB accommodates up to eight passengers, with overnight berths for two, making it suitable for weekend getaways or family outings.

Its Hypalon tubes, with a carbon print finish, feature six air chambers for added safety and durability. The RIB’s lightweight composite construction ensures optimal performance without sacrificing robustness.

Bespoke options for personalisation

True to JP Crafts’ bespoke ethos, the JP CODE 9.8 offers a variety of optional extras to suit individual preferences. Among the upgrades available are:

  • Comfort Features: Forward sunbed, custom ski pole, upgraded upholstery, foot lighting, and deck awning.
  • Utility Enhancements: Anchor system, lifting points, and additional covers for protection.
  • Luxury Add-Ons: Drawer fridge, stereo system, underwater lights, and a black-out styling pack.

Crafted for adventurers

Whether it’s an exhilarating day exploring New Zealand’s rugged coastline or a longer offshore adventure, the JP CODE 9.8 stands out as a beautifully crafted and high-performance companion. CE-approved and built with precision, this RIB is an excellent addition to JP Crafts’ portfolio.
