Celebrity Cruises Introduces Groundbreaking ‘Dream Makers’ Program for the Celebrity Xcel

Cruise enthusiasts worldwide are being invited to make history by shaping their ideal vacation experience aboard Celebrity Cruises' newest ship, the Celebrity Xcel.

In an industry-first initiative, the cruise line has launched the “Dream Makers” program, allowing travelers to vote on and contribute to the ship’s culinary, entertainment, and design elements.

Through a series of online polls and exclusive events, participants can influence the ship’s features, from interior textiles and dining concepts to headline shows and costume designs. This collaboration aims to deliver an unparalleled guest experience when the ship sets sail in November 2025.

“We want to ensure our guests love our products and experiences, so involving them in the process to perfect Celebrity Xcel was a great way to achieve this,” says Michael Scheiner, Chief Marketing and Product Officer of Celebrity Cruises.

A Milestone in Maritime Innovation

Celebrity Xcel reached a significant construction milestone on January 18 with its float-out ceremony at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in France. The ship, a billion-dollar addition to the fleet, is also a testament to Celebrity Cruises’ commitment to sustainability. Featuring the first tri-fuel capable engine, the ship aligns with Royal Caribbean Group’s Destination Net Zero vision, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050.

Upcoming Itineraries

The Celebrity Xcel will begin her inaugural season from Fort Lauderdale, offering seven-night cruises through the Bahamas, Mexico, and other tropical destinations. In Summer 2026, she will head to Europe, where guests can enjoy Mediterranean voyages featuring new overnight stays in Madeira, Portugal.

How to Get Involved

The “Dream Makers” program is open to all, offering a unique opportunity for travelers to leave their mark on the Celebrity Xcel. Those interested can sign up at Celebrity Cruises Dream Makers at their website.
