Coming Soon for Kiwis: New Zealand fans will soon be able to watch the final race of each round live on DAZN for free. Stay tuned for updates.

At the heart of the E1 Championship is the RaceBird—a 200-horsepower foiling electric powerboat capable of reaching 95 km/h (50 knots). Featuring Mercury Racing’s fully electric outboard engine and Kreisel’s high-capacity batteries, these ultra-light boats offer a thrilling mix of agility and performance. Engineered by Victory Marine and SeaBird Technologies, the RaceBird’s design enhances efficiency using advanced hydrofoil technology, allowing it to ‘fly’ above the water, reducing drag while showcasing the future of sustainable marine mobility.

A major highlight of 2025 is LeBron James’ Team AlUla, debuting at the Jeddah GP. Named after Saudi Arabia’s historic oasis city, the team features pilots Rusty Wyatt and Catie Munnings.

Jeddah GP Recap: The opening round on 24–25 January saw Team Brady, Team AlUla, and Steve Aoki’s Aoki Racing Team emerge as top qualifiers. In a stunning turnaround, Aoki Racing claimed their first-ever E1 victory, bouncing back from an eighth-place finish in 2024. Pilots Mashael Alobaidan and Dani Clos led the charge, outperforming Team Rafa and Team Blue Rising, who secured second and third. Alobaidan, Saudi Arabia’s first female rally driver, delivered a standout RaceBird performance, thrilling home fans. Team owner Steve Aoki called the win proof that underdogs can rise through passion and determination.

Beyond the racing action, E1 is committed to advancing sustainable marine technology.
