Riviera’s new interior furnishings collection redefines luxury at sea

Published

Riviera, Australia’s most awarded luxury motor yacht builder, has unveiled a new interior furnishings collection that reaffirms its commitment to personalisation, comfort, and style. Revealed at the 2025 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, the curated range brings a new layer of elegance and individual expression to Riviera’s fleet – turning luxury motor yachts into genuine homes on the water.

At the heart of the new offering is a simple but potent idea: today’s yacht owners aren’t just looking for performance and seaworthiness – they want a vessel that reflects their lifestyle.

“The result for Riviera owners is a luxury motor yacht that feels more like a second home,” says Sarah Mathias, Riviera’s Décor and Interior Stylist. And with this new soft furnishings collection, that concept is now more tangible than ever.

Personalised Designer Interiors

Drawing on a 25-year partnership with local manufacturer Rheingold Interiors, Riviera has developed nine design collections. These have been specifically crafted for the marine environment, with durability, elegance and practicality woven into every detail. Yet what sets the collection apart is its range: it caters to individual aesthetics, climatic preferences, and the nuanced way people live aboard their boats.

Each design theme is distinct, offering owners a broad canvas to express their taste. The Tuscany Range evokes warmth and calm with burnt ambers, soft greens, and blush pinks, while abstract prints add flair. The Dune Range, in contrast, is understated and minimalist, using eco-recycled jacquards and plush velvets to evoke a retreat-like ambience.

The Harbour Range leans into Riviera’s nautical roots, with bold indigo stripes and hand-drawn ocean-inspired prints. The Lilium Range pushes the envelope further, featuring rich blues and golden saffron tones anchored by screen-printed florals on linen – a painterly homage to natural beauty.

For those favouring classical design, the Wedgewood Range delivers subtle shimmer through metallic yarns, raised textures, and sateen finishes. It’s a palette of quiet confidence. The Fleur Range builds on this with a touch of modern botanical elegance – velvets and quilted patterns in soothing tones add homeliness without compromising luxury.

Nature remains a core theme throughout. The Lotus Range blends seascape blues with soft greens, conjuring coastal tranquillity, while the Willow Range wraps the interior in calming whites and shell tones, accented with delicate leaf motifs for a truly peaceful onboard feel.

Finally, the Onyx Range makes a bold monochrome statement – linen bedspreads, bouclé textures, and chunky velvets give it a tactile, modern edge. It’s aimed squarely at owners who like their design to be clean, graphic, and sophisticated.

These collections are more than surface-level style. They are thoughtfully composed to withstand life at sea – sun exposure, humidity, and the constant motion of a motor yacht. Yet they are soft to the touch and beautiful to the eye, making each onboard space a place to relax, entertain, and enjoy the journey.

Importantly, Riviera includes a personalised consultation with Sarah Mathias for every new owner. From staterooms to the flybridge and beyond, owners are invited to co-create their yacht’s interior.

“It’s a personal journey of choice and taste,” Mathias says, “and one that our Riviera owners find immensely enjoyable as they personalise their new yacht to reflect how they live aboard.”

The release of the Interior Furnishings Collection reflects broader shifts in the expectations of luxury boat owners. It’s not just about materials or design trends – it’s about how those elements combine to support comfort, liveability and identity. In this way, Riviera is helping redefine the luxury yachting experience – offering not only best-in-class design, but also a deeply personal connection between owner and vessel.

Visitors to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show were able to view selected interior ranges aboard Riviera’s latest models, and dealer-arranged consultations remain available for interested buyers.

This is Riviera not just building yachts – it’s Riviera building homes at sea.
