The Purekraft Boats 2025 Game On Tournament returns to Tauranga this summer, bringing anglers together for one of the Bay’s most anticipated events. Running 24–26 January it promises hot action on the water and big moments back at the weigh-station. Crews can look forward to chasing tuna, competing for strong prizes, and enjoying the good times together that make this tournament one of the highlights on a strong Tauranga Sport Fishing Club calendar. Final entry details, briefing times, and rules will be released shortly, so mark the dates, and keep an eye out for updates from the Tauranga Club.

Last summer proved just how good the Bay can be. At the January 2025 weigh-station, standout catches included three yellowfin between 32 and 41 kilos, and another at 11 kilos.

It’s a fitting stage for Purekraft, whose trailer boat range is built with anglers in mind. From 5–6m centre consoles for day fishing to versatile hardtops for family use, every model is tailored to the Kiwi boating lifestyle. The 7m models suit bluewater anglers chasing offshore game, while the 8–9m range caters to serious boaties after overnight capability and big-water confidence. Adding to this lineup is the innovative Rova amphibious series, designed and built in-house. These craft transition seamlessly from beach to open water, combining performance with engineering finesse. Bold, refined, and unmistakably Purekraft, the Rova pushes boundaries, giving tournament anglers and adventurous crews a platform that’s as capable on land as it is offshore.
