Rayglass is heading on the road this September with a two-stop event designed to put its latest launches directly into the hands of boaties. The Rayglass Roadshow will showcase the new Legend 2700 and the Rayglass 3000 with one-day sessions in Whitianga and Tauranga. Locals can climb aboard, take guided tours, and even head out for sea trials, but spaces are limited so early booking is essential.
The first stop is Whitianga Marina on Saturday 13 September, followed by Tauranga Bridge Marina on Sunday 14 September. Both events are tailored for hands-on boaties who want to see how the latest Rayglass models perform on their own coastline.
The Legend 2700
Launched at the Hutchwilco Boat Show in May, the Legend 2700 builds on nearly two decades of customer feedback from the company’s most awarded model, the 2500. Rayglass has refined and modernised the boat with a new flat windscreen, extra headroom in the cabin and toilet, more galley space, and expanded storage. It retains the brand’s hallmarks of strength, safety, and comfort while offering new engine configurations, from a 270hp diesel inboard to a powerful 400hp V10 outboard.
The Rayglass 3000
If the 2700 is an all-rounder, the 3000 is the entertainer’s dream. Stretching out to nine metres overall, it features a deep-vee hull with Zipwake trim control, a spacious hardtop, and a generous forward cabin with full galley and toilet. Designed as the “ultimate weekend cruiser,” the 3000 is available with either twin outboards or a single diesel inboard. From fishing and water sports to overnighting, it’s built for versatility and comfort.
