The Boating New Zealand team has gone all-out for the 2025 PIC Coastal Classic!

It’s been a full day of coverage — from the start line in Auckland to the finish in Russell.

From early this morning in Auckland, Kirsten was on the media boat, Chris was reporting from the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, and Roger captured incredible shots both from the air and on the water. By this evening, Chris and Kirsten are in Russell to catch the first yachts arriving through the night and into tomorrow.

We’re now pulling together our detailed race packages — but for now, enjoy this stunning gallery of start-line photos by Roger Mills 👇
