Maritimo makes waves at Fort Lauderdale

Australian luxury builder unveils flagship models and next-gen innovation at FLIBS 2025

A bold statement in the U.S. market

Maritimo has made a commanding impression at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), unveiling a striking display that cements the Australian builder’s position as a global leader in long-range luxury motor yachts.

Set against the glamour of FG Dock’s new display area, Maritimo’s stand featured three headline models – the M75 Flybridge Motor Yacht, the M60 Flybridge Motor Yacht, and the S55 Sedan Motor Yacht. Each boat embodies the company’s reputation for endurance, craftsmanship, and ocean-going performance.

“FLIBS gives us the opportunity to showcase the quality of Australian yacht building on one of the world’s biggest stages,” said Keith Teynor, Managing Partner of Maritimo Americas. “Every yacht here is a statement of confidence, adventure, and pride of ownership.”

Flagship performance and coastal comfort

The M75 Flybridge, Maritimo’s flagship, represents the peak of offshore luxury, drawing on decades of experience in long-range design. The smaller but no less capable M60 balances efficiency with elegant liveability, while the S55 Sedan Motor Yacht offers open-plan cruising comfort ideal for coastal or harbour life.

Together, the trio demonstrates Maritimo’s continuing focus on engineering integrity, efficient hull design, and refined onboard living – traits that resonate strongly with New Zealand and Pacific owners who value endurance and self-sufficiency at sea.

A look ahead: the new M50 Flybridge

Maritimo also revealed exclusive details of its upcoming M50 Flybridge Motor Yacht, due to make its global debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in March 2026. Designed to redefine the mid-range sector, the M50 promises refined proportions, innovative layout solutions, and long-range capability wrapped in classic Maritimo lines.

Strengthening Gold Coast ties

In a nod to the company’s heritage, Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate attended the show, celebrating the long-standing Sister City connection between Fort Lauderdale and Australia’s Gold Coast. “Maritimo showcases the incredible craftsmanship coming out of our region,” he said. “Seeing that flag flying here makes me proud to be a Gold Coaster – and sends a clear message that we’re open for business.”
