Boating enthusiasts are invited to experience one of Australia’s largest showcases of pre-owned yachts at The Yacht Sales Co.’s 2025 Gold Coast Open Day, held Saturday 1 November.

A celebration of boating life

The Yacht Sales Co. will open its Gold Coast Sales Centre at The Boat Works, Coomera, for a full day celebrating everything boating. Running from 9am to 3pm, the free event will feature an impressive display of power and sail yachts—both afloat and on the hardstand—showcasing some of the finest models available on the market.

The company’s waterfront location in The Boat Works marine precinct provides the ideal setting for viewing, exploring, and talking boats with industry experts.

Something for every boatie

The open day will feature more than just yachts. A host of exhibitors and marine suppliers will also be present, offering products, services, and insights for every type of boating enthusiast—from first-time buyers to seasoned skippers.

Visitors can chat with The Yacht Sales Co. team for professional guidance on buying, selling, or maintaining their yacht. It’s also a rare chance to step aboard a wide variety of models in one place, compare layouts and designs, and discover the lifestyle opportunities each vessel offers.

Chief Executive Officer Mark Elkington says this year’s event will be the biggest yet.

“These events have always been a huge hit, but with the incredible range of quality pre-owned yachts on display this year, we’re expecting record attendance,” he said.

“From power to sail, monohulls to multihulls, there’s something for every boating enthusiast.”

A day out on the waterfront

With free entry and parking, the event is designed as a relaxed day out for families, friends, and anyone curious about boating. Visitors can enjoy The Boat Works’ lively marina atmosphere, explore the precinct’s waterfront dining options, and experience firsthand why boating continues to capture imaginations across Australia and New Zealand
