Evo Yachts is setting course for the southern hemisphere with a new distribution deal that brings the Italian boatbuilder’s range to New Zealand and Australia. The company has appointed Sydney-based dealer Boatology as its exclusive representative for Oceania, marking the start of a collaboration that blends Mediterranean style with the boating lifestyle of Down Under.

The partnership will make its public debut at the Sydney International Onwater Boat Show 2025, held from 13–16 November at Cockle Bay Marina in Darling Harbour. The display will showcase Evo’s contemporary design ethos and introduce the brand to a market that values innovation, functionality, and outdoor living.

A natural fit for local boaters

Boatology’s founder and CEO, Zain Moloobhoy, says Evo Yachts perfectly matches the boating culture of Australasia.

“Italian craftsmanship, attention to detail, and full freedom to enjoy the outdoor spaces are a perfect match for the Australian and New Zealand approach to boating.”

The first Evo R4 Icone is set for delivery in 2026, bringing the brand’s signature mix of transformable decks, cutting-edge design, and social versatility to local waters.

Strengthening global horizons

For Evo Yachts, the Sydney partnership marks another step in its global expansion. The move strengthens the brand’s international footprint beyond Europe and brings its distinctive take on contemporary yachting to the waters of the Pacific.

“Our presence in Oceania consolidates our vision of a global, modern boating experience — one that connects people through design, performance, and passion for the sea,” an Evo spokesperson said.

About Boatology

Headquartered in Drummoyne, Sydney, Boatology is built on more than 120 years of maritime heritage. The company traces its roots to a family marine legacy dating back to 1905 and continues that tradition with a philosophy they call ‘Saltwater Therapy’ — the belief that boating offers a return to what truly matters: creating joyful memories on the water with family and friends.

Boatology’s portfolio spans luxury and performance craft, with a focus on delivering a seamless ownership experience. As they expand into the New Zealand and Australian markets with Evo Yachts, the team promises a hands-on, locally grounded approach backed by generations of passion for life at sea.
