Greenline 42 completed its world debut at boot Düsseldorf 2026

From Boat Business in the Boating New Zealand January 2026 edition.

The all-new Greenline 42

Greenline Yachts has launched the Greenline 42, a model that marks a new chapter in the brand’s evolution. Known for its hybrid technology since 2008, the Greenline 42 features new styling, advanced technical build, and a focus on performance and comfort. Positioned between the 39, 40, and 45 models, it offers versatile cockpit options, a refined interior, and a new high-performance hull. Designed by Marco Casali and engineered by Micad, it boasts contemporary European styling and seamless indoor-outdoor flow. Available with diesel or hybrid propulsion, it includes up to 4.3 kW of solar power for constant 230V onboard. The hybrid system allows silent cruising in electric mode and diesel for longer passages and battery recharging.

Following its project reveal at the Cannes Yachting Festival, Greenline Yachts has now completed the world debut of its new 42 foot model at boot Düsseldorf 2026, with the show marking the first public appearance of the yacht.

At the time of its debut, the Greenline 42 was already under construction at the brand’s Slovenian shipyard. The model brings together increased performance, advanced solar capability, and the highest level of owner customisation yet offered by Greenline.

An optimised hull delivers a top speed of up to 25 knots. The Greenline 42 can be specified with the H Drive 6G system, allowing for silent electric manoeuvring and improved efficiency at low speeds. Up to ten solar panels generate as much as 4.3 kW, supplying onboard systems and supporting faster battery recharging.

The new model is the most versatile in the Greenline range to date. The aft cockpit is available in two configurations, including a drop down transom and removable furniture, while the foredeck lounge creates a practical and well integrated social area. Interior design by Marco Casali is offered in two distinct styles, combining timeless proportions with modern detailing.

“The Greenline 42 reflects everything we have learned about building enduring, high quality yachts,” said Greenline Yachts CEO Vladimir Zinchenko. “It is designed to deliver long term enjoyment, with flexibility that allows each yacht to reflect its owner.”

With its debut now complete, the Greenline 42 has been positioned as a new benchmark for the brand, combining speed, sustainability, and intelligent design in a semi customisable package.
