Remigo launches award-winning RemigoOne Neo electric outboard

Remigo has officially launched the RemigoOne Neo, a new-generation electric outboard that has already received top international recognition for design and innovation.

The RemigoOne Neo has been named Design of the Year at the 2025 European Product Design Awards, one of Europe’s leading programmes recognising excellence in industrial and transport design. The jury cited the outboard’s integrated design, real-world usability, and electric-first approach to marine propulsion.

Building on the success of the original RemigoOne, the Neo delivers increased performance while retaining the same compact, blade-shaped form. The fully integrated electric outboard functions as both propulsion and rudder, eliminating the complexity and maintenance associated with traditional outboards.

Powered by a highly efficient 1000 W brushless DC motor with a 1500 W boost mode, RemigoOne Neo delivers performance comparable to a 4 HP petrol outboard, without noise, fumes, or direct emissions. An integrated 1085 Wh lithium-ion battery, marine-grade aluminium unibody housing rated to IP67, and an innovative two-part mounting system make the outboard suitable for boats up to 7 metres or 1500 kg.

The Neo introduces optional remote control capability, strapless shaft length adjustment from S to XL in a single model, and a lightweight design weighing just 12 kg with bracket included.

“RemigoOne Neo was designed as an electric-first system, not a combustion engine replacement,” said Remigo CEO Marko Vrtovec. “This award confirms that focusing on user experience, durability, and simplicity delivers real benefits on the water.”
