Latest Lowrance® Software release delivers key enhancements to all-in-one live sonar solution Eagle Eye™

Lowrance®, a world leader in fishing electronics, today announced a new software update for its Eagle Eye™ all‑in‑one live sonar system, introducing depth offset functionality and a suite of new color palettes. This release builds on the recent ActiveTarget® software update, extending many of the same performance improvements to Eagle Eye™ users.

When an Eagle Eye transducer is installed below the waterline, the portion of the water column above it is typically not displayed. The newly added depth offset feature gives anglers the ability to account for the transducer’s installation depth below the water surface. With depth offset enabled in Forward mode, anglers can now compensate for this previously hidden area, gaining full visibility from the transducer to the water’s surface.

The update also introduces three new color palettes designed to improve target separation and underwater visibility. No existing palettes have been removed, though several have been renumbered for better organizational flow:

To download the new software, visit lowrance.com and transfer the update to a standard memory card (maximum 32GB) using a connected smart device or PC. Ensure the file is saved in the root directory of the card. Before updating, users should back up any important data on their unit.

Important: Do not download software updates to mapping cards. Use a non‑mapping memory card with sufficient available storage.
