Raymarine’s latest update to its LightHouse operating system, Annapolis 3.9, brings powerful new features and benefits to owners of Raymarine MFDs.

Axiom owners can now use their existing thermal cameras and employ Raymarine’s ClearCruise Augmented Reality (AR) for safer boating in busy waterways and poor visibility.

ClearCruise AR overlays navigational and AIS information onto Axiom’s high-definition (HD) video feed to combine clear, true 360° viewing with detailed information about surrounding waters, other vessels, landmarks and hazards nearby.

With Annapolis 3.9, skippers can build detailed bathymetric charts using data from a vessel’s GPS and fishfinder to draw detailed depth contours. All that is required is an Axiom MFD, Annapolis 3.9, Raymarine’s RealBathy™ and a memory card with available space.

Annapolis 3.9 also supports Yamaha Command Link Plus integration on existing Raymarine MFDs for up to four Yamaha engines, along with fuel tanks and batteries.

Other features include intuitive pinch-tozoom touchscreen control and touch-anddrag range shift; control of DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom drones; multi-zone volume control for FUSION marine sound systems and several new benefits for cruising and racing sailors.
