Six Teams Progress in Youth America’s Cup Series After Thrilling Showdowns in Both Groups

After several more days of competition than initially anticipated, thanks to the winds not turning a couple of times, the six teams advancing from the original twelve in the Youth America’s Cup series have finally been determined.

The series featured two groups, each comprising six teams competing in a total of eight races. As the dust settled, it became clear that both groups would require every last race to establish which teams would move forward.

From Group A, teams from the USA, UK, and Italy have emerged victorious, earning their continued spots in the Youth America’s Cup. Meanwhile, the invited teams from Sweden, Spain, and Australia also showcased their skill, successfully advancing to the next round.

These six teams have proven themselves to be the strongest contenders among the original twelve, decisively outmatching their rivals and demonstrating their deserving place in the competition’s next phase. The excitement continues to build as these talented youngsters prepare for the challenges ahead in the Youth America’s Cup.

There will be four races of Semi-Finals action, and two eliminations, from where the last two teams standing will face-off to become the winners of the Youth America’s Cup 2024.
