PALM BEACH MOTOR YACHTS will release one of the fastest and most fuelefficient yachts in the world – the GT60 – at the Miami Yacht Show, 2020.

Palm Beach launched the GT series in 2019, aimed at buyers who appreciate a more contemporary design, accompanied by high speed and fuel efficiency to deliver a lower carbon footprint.

This latest model comes hot on the heels of the GT50. A third model, the GT70 is planned.

The GT60 is expected to cruise at 40 knots at half load with a 400nm range. Top speed is expected to be somewhere in the mid-forties.

Powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 1350 pod-drives, the GT60 is constructed with a high-tech, vacuum-infused carbon fibre deck and structure that delivers twice the strength of E-glass, but at half the weight. Bulkheads incorporate closed-cell foam cores and carbon fibre is infused with high-quality vinylester modified-epoxy resin, part of Palm Beach’s commitment to quality construction and durability.

The GT60 will be introduced to the press at Boot Dusseldorf in January and officially unveiled at the Miami Yacht Show in February 2020.
