Off the back of the successful Sealegs-sponsored Onetangi Fishing Competition, which saw dedicated anglers braving rough conditions for a day of adventure and camaraderie, Sealegs is set to make an even bigger splash at the Auckland Boat Show. Despite strong winds and choppy seas, the competition highlighted the resilience of the Sealegs community, reinforcing the brand’s deep connection to boating enthusiasts. More than just a fishing event, it was a celebration of local connections, friendships, and a shared passion for the ocean—values that are at the heart of Sealegs’ philosophy.

Now, with momentum building, Sealegs is gearing up to showcase its latest innovations at the Auckland Boat Show. Visitors can find Sealegs at Marine M56, located outside on the water, where they’ll have the chance to experience the ultimate amphibious boating technology firsthand.

This year marks 21 years of Sealegs production—a milestone that reflects the company’s legacy as the pioneers of the original amphibious RIB. Since designing and producing the world’s first amphibious rigid inflatable boat, Sealegs has set the standard for over two decades, delivering unmatched performance and innovation on both land and water. With more than 1,850 craft shipped globally, Sealegs continues to lead the way in amphibious technology. To celebrate this anniversary, they’ll be unveiling exciting new technology at the show—offering visitors an exclusive first look at the future of amphibious boating. Whether you’re an experienced angler, an adventure-seeker, or simply curious about how Sealegs continues to push the boundaries, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Visitors to the Auckland Boat Show can speak to the Sealegs’ team about their latest amphibious innovations, including the Sealegs 3.8m Electric Hybrid Tender—a cutting-edge craft designed for seamless land-to-water transitions. Ideal for yacht owners and adventure seekers, this tender features a rigid aluminium hull with Orca Hypalon tubes, offering durability and sleek performance. Its electric drive system, powered by a 3kWh battery, allows for silent, emission-free land travel at 7.5kph. On the water, it supports up to 60HP, ensuring smooth handling. With advanced features like electric power steering, Simrad navigation, and customisation options, it’s the ultimate amphibious tender.

For those seeking a larger, high-performance amphibious craft, the Sealegs 12RC is a showstopper. At 12 metres, it’s the largest Sealegs model, blending luxury, power, and advanced amphibious engineering. Designed in collaboration with Hall Marine Design and PureKraft, this high-performance RIB is powered by twin Mercury Verado V12 600HP engines, delivering speeds of up to 54 knots. On land, it utilises Sealegs’ System 100 amphibious kit, with a 94HP turbo diesel engine for smooth beach landings. Built for long-range cruising, it boasts premium finishes, state-of-the-art navigation, and extensive customisation options, making it the ultimate coastal explorer.
