Beneteau Oceanis 30.1 crowned

Written by

Beneteau’s smallest model in its ever-popular Oceanis range has been recognised with a prestigious ‘European Yacht of the Year’ award.
The highly-acclaimed new Oceanis 30.1 was crowned at the recent International Boat Show in Düsseldorf, standing out as a clear winner in the ’Family Cruiser’ category.
Affordability, comfort and ease of use, along with its smart design and excellent performance qualities, are all part of a cruising recipe the judges liked.
Featuring a strong family resemblance to the larger 46.1 and 51.1, with full-length hull chines generating maximum living space below deck while preserving a narrower waterline, the Oceanis 30.1 is an impressive little cruiser. With unbeatable living space for its size, it has a simple, smart layout which appeals to a broad range of sailors with different cruising requirements.
