At Boating New Zealand, we take feedback seriously. Our goal is to produce accurate, engaging, and trustworthy content for New Zealand’s boating community — and when we get something wrong, we fix it.
We welcome input from readers, industry professionals, and the wider public. Whether it’s a factual correction, a clarification, or a suggestion for future coverage, we treat all feedback as an opportunity to improve.
How to send feedback
To provide feedback on a published story or image, or to report an error, please email the newsroom directly at:
Please include:

What we do with your feedback
-
Corrections and clarifications are handled promptly. We will review the concern and, if an error is found, update the story with an editor’s note.
-
Editorial suggestions and ideas are passed to the editor for review and may influence future story planning.
-
Serious editorial concerns (including issues of bias, ethics, or harm) are escalated internally and may be referred to the publisher.
We aim to respond to all feedback within 3 business days.
Commitment to transparency
If a correction is made, we will clearly indicate what was changed and why. We will not “stealth edit” significant errors without disclosure.
Our editorial team is independent from our commercial operations. All feedback is reviewed by the newsroom and not the advertising or sales teams.
