Azimut Yachts has launched Neuron, a digital platform that combines automation, monitoring, and diagnostics into one integrated package. Instead of adding complexity, it aims to simplify yacht ownership by uniting many onboard functions under a single, customisable interface.
With Neuron, owners can manage systems such as lighting, climate control, and entertainment via an app, whether onboard or ashore. The system also offers real-time monitoring and diagnostics, helping to identify problems early and reduce maintenance demands. Azimut suggests this could cut routine and unscheduled servicing by up to 70 percent.
One of the standout features is remote assistance. With permission, Azimut technicians can securely access the system to run tests or install updates, reducing the need for in-person visits and saving time for the owner.
Neuron’s benefits extend beyond convenience. By halving wiring weight, it frees up technical space and improves efficiency. Power management is also more precise, matching energy use to real demand and reducing waste. The modular, plug-and-play design allows quick replacement of components, increasing reliability and minimising downtime.
Tested on an Azimut Fly 53, Neuron is now moving toward full deployment across the yard’s models up to 80 feet. For owners, the promise is simple: smarter yacht management that makes life on board easier, safer, and more efficient.
