SPECIAL NOTES
New Listing

Allikat II is a custom-built 45 Lightwave Grande, designed by renowned multihull specialist Tony Grainger and built by Lightwave Yachts. She is the second Lightwave 45 commissioned by her current owners, following their positive experience with a 2007 model. This vessel was specified to a much higher standard to support long-range offshore cruising with safety, reliability and longevity at the forefront.

Major upgrades include twin 180 HP Yanmar shaft drive engines, reinforced rigging, high-durability sails, a diesel genset, watermaker, stainless steel fuel and water tanks, custom electrical systems, and upsized autopilot with hydraulic pump redundancy. She features three independent battery banks, multiple Anderson 52 ST electric winches, sacrificial timbers under mini keels, and duplicated HSW systems. The interior is enhanced with tailor-made teak flooring and additional refrigeration.

Accommodation is spacious and well-considered, with three queen berths across three cabins, two bathrooms (one electric head, one vacuum), and hot water via a 40 L heat exchanger and 500 W electric element to starboard, plus a 20 L electric unit to port. Holding tanks are fitted. Allikat II has taken her owners across extensive cruising grounds, including the Louisiades (PNG), northern Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Borneo, the South China Sea, Raja Ampat, western Papua, New Caledonia and Vanuatu – all without major incident, a testament to the vessel’s quality and specification.

Meticulously maintained to a high standard throughout her life, Allikat II is now ready for her next chapter of bluewater adventures. Enquire about this yacht
