The 60 metre superyacht 21.12 arrived into Auckland’s Silo Marina early morning, 11 January 2026, following a passage south from Denarau Island in Fiji.
Launched in 2024, 21.12 is an Amels 60, designed by Damen Yachting and built by the Dutch yard, Amels, as part of its Limited Editions series. She is the sixth yacht completed to the Amels 60 design.
Spotted by Trevor Coppock Photography, the yacht paused off Rangitoto Island before continuing towards Westhaven and Silo Marina. During her approach, she attracted attention from onlookers and photographers. The yacht is currently scheduled to depart Auckland on Wednesday.
Delivered in October 2024, the yacht features exterior design by Espen Øino, Norwegian naval architect and superyacht designer. Construction began in mid-2022, with the build completed in just over two years. She carries 850GT on a steel displacement hull with aluminium superstructure and teak decks. Beam is 10.4 metres, draft 3.35 metres. Powered to 15.5 knots, she cruises at 13 knots with a 4,500nm range.
Inside, 21.12 is laid out over four guest decks, with interior spaces totalling around 324 square metres. The interiors were styled by Winch Design (designers of bespoke, ultra-high-end superyachts, and private jets), with a contemporary feel. Emphasis has been placed on indoor-outdoor flow. The Bridge Deck Lounge forms the social hub, opening aft to create a combined entertaining area of more than 100 square metres.
The Owner’s Suite sits forward on the main deck, defined by full-height trapezoidal windows and a folding balcony that creates a private terrace over the water. Guest accommodation includes additional VIP and guest suites below. Accommodation is for 12 guests in six cabins, supported by 13 crew.
On deck, the yacht carries a 9 metre luxury tender on the foredeck, supported by a deck crane, along with a crew tender and personal watercraft. The beach club and swim platform provide easy access for watersports and relaxed use at anchor.
