Fountaine Pajot has achieved a significant milestone, with three of its latest sailing catamarans shortlisted for the 2026 Boat of the Year Awards. The FP41, FP44 and FP55 have all been nominated by Cruising World, placing the French builder firmly in the spotlight on the international stage.
The annual awards are widely regarded as a benchmark in the North American market, recognising yachts that push the boundaries of modern cruising. Winners are selected through a rigorous process that combines detailed dockside inspections with real-world sea trials on Chesapeake Bay. The FP41 represents the entry point into this new generation. At 41 feet, it delivers a notable balance between livability and ease of handling. Stepping up in size, the FP44 targets owners seeking a more capable long-range cruiser. The model emphasises connection between onboard spaces, with a cockpit that extends naturally into the saloon and forward areas. At the top of the range, the FP55 stands as the flagship. Designed for extended bluewater cruising, it introduces a flybridge that functions as a central living and helm space.
