Raymarine’s new Axiom 2 boasts faster speeds, better performance, more responsiveness

Raymarine’s new Axiom 2 range delivers faster speeds, better performance and more responsiveness.

Boasting significantly upgraded performance and networking, comparable to the larger and more expensive Axiom 2 Pro and Axiom 2 XL, the new Axiom 2 models are designed to work seamlessly with the latest generation of marine apps, as well as with those still in development.

Available in the smaller 7-, 9- and 12-inch sizes, Axiom 2 features an impressive upgraded 6-core processor, delivering noticeably faster startup, chart rendering and multitasking. Thanks to its integral Gigabit RayNet® Ethernet, it also offers faster chart sharing, data transfer and lower-latency video.

Axiom 2’s expanded system memory of 64 GB allows it to store a huge range of apps, charts, screenshots and data.

Axiom 2, which is available in either Chartplotter or RV 2 (with built-in RealVision® 3D Sonar) models, comes pre-installed with Raymarine’s new LightHouse 4.11 OS, ensuring easy networking with existing Axiom systems. It is also designed to be fully ready for LightHouse 5, due later this year.

Upgrading is easy, too, as all Axiom 2 models are direct drop-in replacements for Axiom and Axiom+ models of corresponding sizes and all power, network, transducer, accessory cables and mounting hardware are identical. Axiom 2 models all also work with the Raymarine’s bezel adapter kits and transducer adapter cables that are compatible with Axiom and Axiom+.

Raymarine’s new Axiom 2 range is now available through Lusty and Blundell’s nationwide network of leading marine dealers and at its three showrooms in Albany, Whangarei and Tauranga.

Product information is available from Lusty and Blundell on (09) 415-8303 or at www.lusty-blundell.co.nz.
