JOB OPENING | CHEF – NAPLES, ITALY
ROLE OVERVIEW
K-Challenge, the French Challenger for the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup, to be held in Naples, Italy, in Spring / Summer 2027 is looking for a full time chef to provide meals to the staff members of the team from the start of summer 2026 to end of summer 2027.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with K-Challenge Operations Team to provide meals to the team members (max 100 persons) in Naples including:
– Create creative and nutritious menus in collaboration with team physical trainer
– Create menus that minimize food waste and incorporate vegetarian options
– Responsible for a list of allergens
– Responsible for food sourcing, stock management and budget reporting
– Meal preparation:
o lunch: unique menu with salad / main course / fruits or cake
o dinner: it can be pre-made dishes (pasta, salad,) that could be reheated by team
members
– Ensure the coffee station (coffee, tea, juices, fruits) is always stocked and clean
– Ensure the crew catering area is operational and clean
– Ensure the dishes and kitchen are clean
PROFILE
– Languages: French or English essential, Italian a plus
– Prior experience in catering for large groups
– Experience in the sports or events sector is a plus
– Strong team spirit
– Adaptability and flexibility essential
– Creativity and a commitment to sustainable development
– Basic knowledge of nutrition.
CONDITIONS
– Full-time position available starting summer 2026 (exact dates to be confirmed).
– Salary negotiable based on experience.
– Position based in Naples.
