TVNZ is now the Official Broadcaster of the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup Match and Preliminary Regattas, Louis Vuitton Cup, Women’s America’s Cup and Youth America’s Cup. TVNZ will cover all America’s Cup races, including Preliminary Regattas, and will be available live and free-to-air on TVNZ 1 and TVNZ+, with replays on TVNZ DUKE.
One of the most iconic and innovative broadcast partnerships in America’s Cup history returns for the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup, Naples as TVNZ (Television New Zealand) confirms their exclusive rights, with comprehensive coverage across TVNZ 1, DUKE, TVNZ+ and 1News.
With a history that dates back to the 1987 America’s Cup in Fremantle, Western Australia, TVNZ has been a valued part of the competition’s history capturing some of the most quintessential moments, particularly in the illustrious story of Emirates Team New Zealand through the recent iterations, delivering outstanding moments to captivated New Zealand audiences.

TVNZ will begin its coverage with the first Prelim Regatta in Sardinia from the 21st -24th May 2026 with a focus on Emirates Team New Zealand’s two-boat entry, one of which will be crewed by a 50/50 mix of Women & Youth sailors.
