Notices to Mariners June 2026: New charts, harbour updates and navigation changes

Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) has released the latest Notices to Mariners (Edition 13, 26 June 2026), highlighting a range of chart corrections, new chart editions and navigational updates affecting New Zealand waters.

Key updates

  • New and updated nautical chart editions released for selected New Zealand coastal areas.
  • Harbour and approach chart corrections published to improve navigational accuracy.
  • Updated positions and characteristics for selected navigation aids.
  • Amendments to depths, seabed features and underwater obstructions where new hydrographic information is available.
  • Revisions to maritime infrastructure, including wharves, moorings and other charted features.
