Yachting Developments’ Sportfisher Gramac VII

Written by

Yachting Developments is proud to highlight Gramac VII, a 34.9-metre fully custom sportsfisher that exemplifies the yard’s approach to building yachts that are designed to be used, trusted, and lived aboard.

Designed by Warwick Yacht Design and built in New Zealand, Gramac VII is constructed in advanced carbon fibre composite and engineered for serious cruising. Since handover, the yacht has accumulated significant miles throughout Fiji, with the owner spending close to five months onboard; an early and demanding test of reliability, comfort, and functionality.

Fully bespoke, Gramac VII was engineered around the owner’s specific requirements. Wheelchair accessible throughout, she features a lift servicing all decks and a rare private access route from the master suite directly into the engine room. The interior, designed and crafted by Yachting Developments, is modern and understated, with clean architectural lines, warm timbers, and calm neutral tones chosen to support extended periods at sea.

Powered by twin MTU 16V2000M96L engines delivering a combined 5,200 horsepower, Gramac VII reaches speeds of up to 31 knots while maintaining excellent manoeuvrability and seakeeping. Veem propellors, Sleipner electric thrusters, and Humphree interceptors and fins further enhance performance and control.

For Yachting Developments, Gramac VII reflects the culture of the yard itself; technically demanding, deeply personal, and shaped by a team that takes pride in delivering yachts that perform exactly as intended. With more than 70 custom yachts delivered, the project stands as a clear example of the yard’s capability to deliver complex, owner-driven yachts for long-term ownership.
