Rayglass Boats, a Brunswick Corporation brand and a globally recognized designer and manufacturer of premium power boats, gave Australian boaters their first chance to see the Rayglass 2400 in person when Queensland Marine Centre brought the 2400 to the recent 2026 Sydney Boat Show, along with next generation 2700.
The 2400 is the newest addition to Rayglass’s next generation Legend range, evolving the long-running Legend 2350 into a boat built to launch anywhere and go everywhere – easy enough to tow and trailer, yet capable of serious offshore adventure and fishing.
At 7.7 metres in length, the 2400 has plenty of room for the whole family or big fishing crews. Customers can choose between a 270hp inboard diesel or an outboard configuration up to 450hp, with a new purpose-built fishing transom option available on the single outboard model – featuring a plumbed live bait tank, bait prep station, and chilly bin.
Dean Harris, Rayglass Boats’ President, said the Sydney Boat Show was the ideal place for Australian boaters to get aboard for the first time.
“Rayglass hasn’t changed its philosophy here. As Tony Hembrow said when we released the 2700, you don’t make a square wheel when the round one is working.
“We’ve had a great response to the 2400 since launch, and we were looking forward to bringing that same boat to Sydney. It’s built for exactly the kind of boating this region is known for.”
He explains that the 2400 is not a replacement for the 2350, but sits between it and the 2500, giving Australian customers even more choice as Rayglass continues to grow in that market.
