The Travel 603 is the latest addition to Torqeedo’s line-up of clean, quiet portable electric outboards.
The super-quiet, two-horsepower-equivalent, direct-drive, short-shaft motor is the lightest in its class, weighing just 15.5kg, including battery.
Offering outstanding dynamic response with instant torque, it’s perfect for small racing sailboats, tenders, light freshwater fishing boats and canoes.
Manufactured in Germany, the Travel 603 features a 500Wh lithium-ion battery with individually welded steel safety cells and Torqeedo’s five-stage safety system.
At slow speeds, a single battery charge lasts more than 5 ½ hours; the battery is easily swapped out with a fully-charged spare to extend operating range. Batteries float should they fall overboard.
An onboard computer with GPS provides instant readouts of range, battery charge status and more, also available on mobile devices via Torqeedo’s TorqTrac mobile app.
The Travel 603 is supplied with a plug-in charger, or charge directly from your boat’s 12/24-volt supply. An integrated solar charge controller is built into every battery.
Torqeedo Travel accessories include a weedless propeller and a remote throttle.
The Travel 603 is covered by a two-year warranty for recreational use.
