LATE LAST YEAR, Beneteau completed the renewal of its First range by launching four small sport boats. This year, the brand is preparing to launch First Yacht, with a 53-foot luxury and performance boat that keeps faith with its new brand signature: ‘Avant-garde in boating’.
Beneteau settled on America’s Cup veteran Roberto Biscontini to design the First Yacht 53’s hull and Lorenzo Argento the deck plan and interior. Together, they developed features from the high-performance yachts they usually design, while remaining loyal to the First legacy.
The First Yacht 53 has a perfectly balanced hull under sail with extremely promising performance. The styling encompasses a low coachroof, broad open stern and clean cockpit. It has a tender garage, carbon rigging, lots of space inside with a real lounge area, teak mouldings and top-quality materials.
The First Yacht 53 is meant to complement the distinctive style and the racing spirit of its owner. It will be launched officially at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
