The owner has already purchased a new boat, so this vessel must go. Arrochar is a Bruce Roberts Mauritius 44 ketch, built in South Africa and launched in 1986. She has proven herself as a capable offshore cruiser with solid blue-water credentials.
Powered by a 60hp Ford engine, she cruises comfortably at around 7 knots. On deck, Arrochar offers a roomy, well-laid-out deck area that is easy to move around, meaning she is comfortable whether underway or on anchor. As a ketch, her sail plan is naturally balanced and manageable, and with the added bow thruster, she is easy to handle single-handed, even in tight marinas or challenging conditions.
Below deck, Arrochar offers 7 berths with flexible sleeping arrangements — choose from up to 3 doubles and 2 singles, or 1 double and 5 singles depending on your needs. The interior features a roomy galley and spacious saloon area, complete with a pantry — ideal for liveaboard comfort or extended cruising.
