Takapu is a luxury cruising and liveaboard Pilot House Launch. Retiring owners purchased her in the Marlborough Sounds and brought her to the North Island as their first passage making adventure. Since then, they have spent the last three years extensively cruising North Island’s upper half in complete comfort and safety.

The Bayliner Motor Yacht series blend long range at displacement speeds and the option to hightail it when the need calls. Takapu also sports the most powerful engine option offered, with 2 x Cummins 370hp engines. Comfort aboard continues with Diesel genset, 455w solar, Inverters for silent ship running, Diesel fired ducted heating, inbuilt electrical heating, Air conditioning, 2 bathrooms (Ensuite off master cabin has bath), 3 private cabins and lots more.

Takapu was antifouled and engines serviced in Feb 2025. She is ready for cruising this summer at short notice. Can you imagine taking the wheel of this fine launch and making your own adventures?

Twin engine manoeuvrability with a bow thruster as well, to satisfy even the most seasoned skipper.
