Anchoring is easily managed from the cockpit using the auto-anchor control system in conjunction with a Muir winch and new Manson Boss 45Kg anchor with 70m of new chain. She is powered by two recently fully serviced and rewired Yanmar 30hp diesel engines. VendeeX also boasts a completely new interior, with a custom-built galley featuring brand new appliances, including Vitrifrigo two drawer fridge/freezer and Brass Monkey two cabinet fridge/freezer.
Other additions include Starlink internet, a new HD TV and a 20l/hr Shenker watermaker. She is set up for easy and safe shorthanded sailing, either solo or by a couple. Fast and relaxing off-wind cruising speeds can be achieved using the genoa only, but if you want to go faster, just put up the main, and leave almost every other boat in your wake!
The redesigned cockpit with new instrument panel provides a protected and comfortable dual helming position with a large living & entertaining area with new teak table and reinforced carbon-fibre bimini that will support two people when reefing the main. The saloon boasts 6-foot headroom and a 4-6 seat table that converts to a double bed. There are two more double cabins and plenty of storage in the central pod.
