Karma Waters is a 2002 Bavaria 44 four-cabin sloop, designed with true offshore capability and comfort in mind. A renowned model from Bavaria Yachts, she delivers a winning combination of sturdy German engineering, voluminous living space, and practical sailing features suited for both seasoned bluewater adventurers and liveaboard cruisers alike. Lovingly maintained and consistently upgraded by both previous and current owners, Karma Waters is truly turnkey and ready for her next ocean voyage.

Her current owners have lived aboard full-time, enjoying years of extensive cruising throughout the Pacific Islands. She’s a true “go-anywhere” vessel, with a well-balanced and manageable rig, short draft, and great deck layout. Karma Waters is also ideal for short-handed sailing, prioritising ease of handling and onboard safety.

Some of her key upgrades include a powerful Volvo D2-55 engine (upgraded in 2010), and sail drive in 2019, Coppercoat antifoul, and standing rigging renewed in January 2025. She also features upgraded Raymarine navigation systems, including plotters, Quantum radar, and new tridata instruments—making coastal or offshore navigation a breeze. Energy needs are covered by new batteries and a robust 600-watt solar array mounted on a stainless steel stern frame.

The cockpit is generously proportioned with twin helm stations, a central table, and integrated Raymarine display. A sugar scoop aft provides easy access to the water and houses a Hydrovane wind steering system and custom BBQ setup. Below deck, the layout is warm and practical.

The saloon offers a spacious dinette with extensive storage, complemented by a full-length galley, chart table, and ample natural ventilation. Accommodation includes a forward ensuite cabin, twin singles to port (currently used as a pantry/storage room), and two aft doubles. Fans and custom hatch covers keep cabins cool, and a portable evaporative aircon unit adds comfort in tropical climates.

With in-mast furling, all lines led aft, and a comprehensive inventory of spare parts, Karma Waters is well-equipped for immediate cruising. Whether you’re planning coastal adventures or circumnavigation, this capable and comfortable yacht is ready to take you there. Contact us today for more information.
