Rolex Sydney to Hobart Race
The Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race is one of the world’s most iconic and demanding offshore races. Held annually, the 628-nautical-mile course starts in Sydney Harbour and crosses the Tasman Sea and Bass Strait before finishing in Hobart, Tasmania. The race is known for its unpredictable weather, tactical challenges, and fierce competition across amateur and professional crews.
The 2025 edition will start on Friday, 26 December, maintaining the classic Boxing Day tradition that draws thousands of spectators and global media attention.
