Yamaha has added new generation, two-cylinder, two valves per cylinder, single overhead cam F20 and T25 outboards to its portable four-stroke line-up.

The new F20 is built around the F25, an award-winning outboard featuring modified ECU mapping and a redesigned camshaft, as well as a 16-amp alternator – 60% more output than the previous F20.

The F20 features a variable trolling rpm switch, an easy-to-use freshwater flush attachment, ergonomic carry handles and two-position resting pads.

Enjoying the simplicity of battery-less electronic fuel injection (EFI), the F20 comes in manual or electric-start configurations, in long and short shaft, remote and various tiller-steer versions.

Also based on the F25, Yamaha’s new highthrust T25, in long and short shaft, tiller and remote steering, and manual and electric start versions, delivers the power and grip to efficiently propel heavier vessels.

The T25 comes fitted with a large diameter, low-pitch, dual-thrust propeller providing up to 60% more thrust in reverse and 10% more in forward, for better efficiency and control when pushing big loads.
