Grand Banks has finalised the interior details of its GB85 long-distance cruiser.

The GB85 aims to deliver the most fuel-efficient long-range cruiser of its size on the water. Its deck and superstructure are built using 100% carbon fibre, vacuum-infused with vinylester resin to realise a combination of strength, weight reduction, and durability.

$895,000 NZD
2022 | With three cabins, two heads, and a spacious interior this Bavaria has only 30 hours on her twin Volvo. Nearly new this is well worth a viewing.

Each GB85 will be customised to suit the individual needs of her owner, based on the model’s ergonomic open-plan platform and reflecting the company’s 65-year legacy of craftsmanship and timeless interior fit-out. Grand Banks has built cruising designs for nearly seven decades, delivering more than 7,000 yachts.
A beam of 22 feet (6.7m) allows Grand Banks to offer a range of internal configurations and amenities. Decks are arranged for outdoor dining and entertaining while the lounge seating area in the main saloon uses the full beam of the vessel. Expansive windows combined with an electrically opening aft window allow guests to view their surroundings from almost anywhere in the GB85’s main saloon or dining area.
The GB85 is available in Skylounge or Open Bridge configurations. The Skylounge version places the galley forward. An internal dining area is located between the galley and main saloon and the additional Skylounge saloon rivals the main deck saloon of many 60-footers for size.
The elevated helm area forward comfortably seats four adults, while the starboard helm position and lowering side and aft windows offer terrific sightlines. An electric sunroof further transforms the space.
Belowdecks, the full beam master stateroom boasts a king-size bed and spacious lounge area. The three-quarter beam master head has two vanities, a large shower and is connected to the robe on the port side.
Full beam crew/guest accommodation options include multiple single or double berths in separate rooms with a full-size head and galley, or a single stateroom with walk-around queen berth complete with hanging lockers, and a larger galley.
Grand Banks’ designers have focused on customising hard and soft goods, customers working with a professional interior design team. Whatever options are chosen, the handcrafted joinery and woodwork are meticulously finished.
