TRU-DESIGN PLASTICS EXPANDS AND RELOCATES

MARINE MANUFACTURER Tru-Design Plastics Ltd has expanded its production and research capabilities by relocating to a new 3000 square metre facility at the Airport Oaks precinct close to Auckland’s International Airport.

The move which will allow Tru-Design to increase production capabilities and meet growing international demand comes after the company suffered a fire at their old premises, where thankfully no one was injured.

The new facility is 30 per cent larger, more modern and closer to logistics companies around the airport district.

The TruDesign brand is marketed throughout Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific region, with their underwater seacock system increasingly specified in new builds by international boat builders as their preferred product.

Designed and made in New Zealand, TruDesign’s composite through hull fittings and seacocks are recognized for eliminating the traditional concerns of corrosion and electrolysis.
