Paul MacDonald is back on the ground in Palma, Mallorca having just returned from a time at the Boat Show in Cannes.
He is following up on the Omikron Yachts OT-80, the recently announced 80-foot version of the award-winning Omikron vessel, OT-60.
Still in the pre-manufacture phase, the images below show the vessel and its amazing layout and function.

It was originally announced at Boot Düsseldorf 2024. The new flagship motor yacht will mark a significant milestone in the shipyard’s journey of innovation and excellence.
The OT-80 yacht will expand on the already successful design of the smaller award-winning OT-60 yacht. Designer Lorenzo Argento Yacht Design and naval architect Juan Kouyoumdjian will collaborate again with the shipyard for her design, to go beyond the OT-60 in every dimension.
“The OT-80, is not just a larger model; it’s putting a magnifying glass on our vision for the sustainable future of yachting. With expectations set high by our debut model, we are working harder than ever to ensure that all our stakeholders and, most importantly, the future owners of the OT-80 will be thrilled,” explained Nikolas Dendrinos, Chairman.

Details surrounding the OT-80 are still being kept tightly under wraps, with the eco-cruiser expected to be launched in 2025.
The images released in this article are the first 3D images to be published.
The news follows Omikron Yachts’ success at the European Powerboat Awards, where the OT-60 model won the prestigious European Powerboat Award for Long Range Yachts.
