A new leadership era for Maritimo
Maritimo has announced the appointment of new leaders who bring a wealth of expertise and passion to the brand, paving the way for exciting growth and innovation.
Sean Savage and Danny Jordin
Danny Jordin, the new Australasian Sales Manager, replaces Ormonde Britton, who retires after years of dedicated service. With over 20 years of experience in the Australian boating industry, Danny has worked extensively in marketing and sales for Australian-made boats, most recently as National Sales Manager for Cruise Craft Boats. His personal connection to boating, starting with a tinny at age 12 and evolving to weekend outings with his family on a runabout, gives him an authentic understanding of what boaters seek.
“My main objective will be to provide the sales tools consultants need to represent Maritimo at the standard it deserves,” Danny stated. “I bring unique insight into boating that covers the manufacturing and service sides, with equal emphasis on the fun and adventure that owners look for.”
Joining Danny are Sean and Paul Savage, appointed as Business Development Managers. These second-generation boaters grew up immersed in the boating lifestyle, managing their family’s dealership, Streaker Marine, in Victoria.
Over the past four years, Sean and Paul have represented Maritimo in Victoria and Tasmania, attending three editions of the prestigious Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and working closely with the Maritimo factory on builds, handovers, and service support. While continuing to run Streaker Marine, they will “job share” the Business Development Manager role, based at Maritimo’s Hope Island Sales Office.
Sean and Paul bring unique perspectives to the role, focusing on customer experience and identifying growth opportunities for Maritimo. “We understand and respect the history of the brand,” Paul noted. “The opportunity to work directly with Bill Barry-Cotter and the senior management team is a privilege. It’s a real ‘pinch ourselves’ moment.”
Sean added, “Maritimo’s build quality, race pedigree, and long-range cruising credentials make it a standout choice. Shaft-drive propulsion, walkaround decks, and enclosed flybridges are features that resonate strongly with owners looking for safety, reliability, and adventure.”
